Reinforcements

The framer wanted to make the 20 foot high walls in the living room a tad bit stiffer in case of excessive wind sheer, which our builder effectively demonstrated by body-checking the wall.

A couple of full-height five inch steel posts bolted onto some LVL's should do the trick.
