Roof Over Walkway

They just completed framing the flat roof covering the front entry walkway. They needed a crane to hoist the beefy metal post that supports it and the walkway into place.

So what was supporting the walkway prior to today...hmmm?

Siding (Front Entry)

The framers have about half of the siding in the front entry completed. They also finished the support for the walkway decking so we can actually come in through the front door from now on.

Power

The electricians have wired most of the house as well as the lighting. We had to change where the wires come out due to the distance to the power pole since we wanted underground service.

This is at the northeast end of the house, underneath the box for the fireplace.

Plumbing

The plumbers worked very fast and had most of the pipes and drains done within a day. Here we have the plumbing roughs for the master shower and the tub. We ran into a few complications, primarily due to the lack of interior walls because of our open floor plan. We had to make some minor modifications to fit everything the in the limited space.

Siding (South Side)

The framers are about halfway through siding the south side, which faces the backyard.

No Siding (Northeast Side)

If you looked closely at the previous post, the siding on the north side stops before it covers the entire wall. We decided to break things up a little and stucco the northeast portion of the wall as well as the chimney.

Siding (North Side)

The framers have completed the siding on the north side. Their attention to detail really shows on how clean the installation looks up close.
